Department of “Mathematics and general economic disciplines”<\/strong><\/p>\n

The first name of the department was the department of \u201cHigh mathematics and information\u201d. It was established on September 1992 with the establishment of Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies. The head of this department was a doctor of physics – mathematics sciences, associate professor L.P.Yugay. For the first time professors L.P.Yugay, A.Jalilov, A.Umarov, S.Burilkhiev, R.Burilkhiev, U.Giyazitdinov, and T. Imamov actively worked in this department. In 2000 this department was divided into two departments \u2013 The department of \u201cMathematics\u201d and the department of \u201cInformatics\u201d. In the department of \u201cInformatics\u201d A.Abidov, A.Pulatov, N.Kodirova, D.Razzakova, N.Ergashova, L.Malsheva, and R.Normatov started the activity. On September 28, 2005, with the order of the rector K\/01-72 new department with the name of \u201cNatural sciences, high mathematics and informatics\u201d was organized. The head of this department was the candidate of biology sciences G.Usmanova. In 2008 on the basis of the \u201cThe natural sciences, high mathematics, and informatics\u201d department the department of \u201cMathematics and informatics\u201d was organized. The head of this department was the candidate of physics and mathematics sciences B.J.Kadirkulov. From 2013 – 2017, the candidate physics and mathematics sciences K.E.Nasirov led this department. In 2015, the department’s name was renamed \u201cMathematics and information technologies\u201d.<\/p>\n

In 2021 due to adding economic disciplines, the department was renamed the \u201cMathematics and general economic disciplines\u201d department. Nowadays the head of this department is the doctor of physics and mathematics sciences, associate professor B.J.Kadirkulov.<\/p>\n
