On May 27, 2022, an international scientific and practical conference on \u201cUzbekistan-T\u00fcrkiye cooperation: history and future\u201d organized in cooperation with Istanbul University was held at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies. The first deputy chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sadiq Safoyev, deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, Alisher Azamkhojaev – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to T\u00fcrkiye (online), Olgan Bekar – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of T\u00fcrkiye to Uzbekistan, Officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Professor M.Ak, rector of Istanbul University, H.Akan, professor of this university, Yu.E.Gurbuz – professor of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University as well as experts in the relevant field, professors and teachers, doctoral students, young scientists, and students took part in the conference.<\/p>\n

In recent years, such conferences organized in the universities of our republic have become a tradition. The conferences make it possible to get acquainted with the world\u2019s leading universities and the professors-scientists working in them. The main purpose of the conference is the cooperation aimed at the mutual exchange of personnel, the establishment of scientific and research works, the sending of students to study, and the admission of foreign students.<\/p>\n

Lectures on topics such as \u201cEducational cooperation – an important direction in the relations between Uzbekistan and T\u00fcrkiye\u201d, \u201cT\u00fcrkiye\u2019s foreign policy priorities\u201d, \u201cOrganization of Turkic States: problems and prospects\u201d, \u201cProspective directions of relations between Uzbekistan and T\u00fcrkiye\u201d were heard. The speakers recognized T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s place and role in forming Uzbekistan as an independent state.<\/p>\n

This conference in cooperation is of great importance between Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies and Istanbul University in terms of exchanging ideas, presenting lectures on current topics of our common history, and conducting new research related to areas of our common history that have not yet been studied and are not known to the public. This is especially important for the educational system of our republic, which is being fundamentally renewed.<\/p>\n

The participants of the international conference exchanged views on these issues, the speakers made suggestions and comments. Such conferences with the participation of scientists and students of the leading universities of T\u00fcrkiye and Uzbekistan, first of all, help the Uzbek and Turkish peoples, who are connected with each other by soul and heart, to become more united around noble goals, and moreover, they help us to know the world and become among the developed countries.<\/p>\n

The common culture between Uzbekistan and T\u00fcrkiye, twin values, almost the same language, religion, and our relations based on historical roots serve as the basis for us to say so.<\/p>\n
