On February 17, 2023, Professor, Doctor of Philology of Gazi University, T\u00fcrkiye, Fatma Acik held an online theoretical seminar on the topic \u201cThe Image of Amir Temur in Turkish and Uzbek Novels\u201d at the Department of Oriental Literature and Comparative Literary Studies of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies. During the lecture, Fatma Acik made a comparative analysis of novels dedicated to the life of Amir Temur which were written by Turkish writers Dundar Alp, Samih M. Fethi, Ibrahim Hakki Gundogu, Yilmaz Karakoyunlu, Ziya Shakir, Oktay Tiryakioglu, Erol Toy, and Uzbek writers Muhammad Ali, Khurshid Davron. During the analysis, the differences and similarities in the representation of the image of Amir Temur in the novels of Turkish and Uzbek writers were revealed through examples. The lecture was interesting, controversial and full of information.<\/p>\n

In addition to this, on February 24, 2023, also a webinar on \u201cCurrents in the era of national literature\u201d by Nurullah Chetin, Professor, and Doctor of Philology at Ankara University, T\u00fcrkiye, was held at the Department of Oriental Literature and Comparative Literary Studies of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies. In this lecture, Professor Nurullah Chetin presented interesting information about the organization of Turkish national literature at the beginning of the 20th century along with its founders, objectives, and principles.<\/p>\n
