Objectives and Functions of the Center<\/strong><\/p>\n The main objectives of the Center are as follows:<\/p>\n \u2013 To conduct comprehensive scientific research on Malaysia\u2019s culture, history, literature, economy, politics, and the Malay language, and to study Uzbekistan\u2013Malaysia relations to further strengthen bilateral cooperation.<\/p>\n \u2013 To train scientific and pedagogical specialists in the Malay language, carry out joint research with local and Malaysian partners, and prepare scientific projects, dissertations, monographs, and academic articles.<\/p>\n \u2013 To conduct comparative studies on the linguistic situation, languages, and cultures of Malaysia and Uzbekistan, and to promote both nations\u2019 languages and cultures worldwide through educational applications.<\/p>\n \u2013 To analyze Malay studies and the activities of Malaysia\u2019s leading universities and research centers, and to develop curriculum improvement recommendations for courses in language, literature, history, economics, and political science based on modern educational trends.<\/p>\n \u2013 To translate and publish works related to Malaysia\u2019s culture, history, literature, economy, politics, and Malay language into Uzbek, and vice versa, in order to promote both countries\u2019 values and national heritage internationally.<\/p>\n \u2013 To organize academic conferences, seminars, and round-table discussions at various levels in cooperation with Malaysia\u2019s universities, research centers, and international organizations on the development and prospects of Malay studies.<\/p>\n \u2013 To improve the qualifications of teachers and researchers through seminars, workshops, and scientific meetings.<\/p>\n \u2013 To regularly publish research results of the Center in internationally indexed journals (such as Scopus and Web of Science), as well as in national and university publications.<\/p>\n \u2013 To organize \u201cAcademic Writing Skills\u201d courses for teachers, doctoral students, and independent researchers engaged in scientific activity in Uzbekistan.<\/p>\n \u2013 To involve leading Malay studies scholars from Uzbekistan and Malaysia in the Center\u2019s work.<\/p>\n \u2013 To actively participate in training a new generation of Malay specialists capable of conducting analytical research in Malay culture, history, literature, economy, politics, and language.<\/p>\n \u2013 To develop startup and innovative projects jointly with talented students, master\u2019s and doctoral researchers, and organize seminars and project presentations in collaboration with Malaysia\u2019s leading research institutions and universities.<\/p>\n \u2013 To monitor and ensure the timely implementation of Malay studies research projects conducted at the university.<\/p>\n In accordance with its objectives, the Center performs the following functions:<\/p>\n \u2013 Conducts research projects in line with the university\u2019s scientific agenda and the Center\u2019s annual work plan.<\/p>\n \u2013 Organizes seminars, discussions, and conferences on current issues in Malay studies.<\/p>\n \u2013 Prepares analytical articles and reports to disseminate research results to the wider public.<\/p>\n \u2013 Cooperates with foreign experts in developing academic courses and educational materials.<\/p>\n \u2013 Participates in other analytical projects consistent with the university\u2019s mission and objectives.<\/p>\n \u2013 Engages professors, students, researchers, graduate students, as well as representatives of government bodies, analytical centers, scientific institutions, and foreign experts in the Center\u2019s activities.<\/p>\n \u2013 Coordinates bachelor\u2019s theses, master\u2019s and doctoral dissertations, and other research projects related to Malaysia\u2019s culture, history, literature, economy, politics, and the Malay language in collaboration with relevant university departments.<\/p>\n \u2013 Develops proposals for adopting and implementing advanced international research practices in the study of Malaysia\u2019s culture, history, literature, economy, politics, and language.<\/p>\n \u2013 Contributes to strengthening Uzbekistan\u2013Malaysia relations through in-depth academic research in Malaysian studies.<\/p>\n \u2013 Prepares and publishes materials on
