From October 7 to 11, 2024, Professor Poshshajon Kenjaeva and Associate Professor Dilafruz Muhiddinova of TSUOS paid an official visit to the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye. During the visit, they visited some of the country\u2019s leading universities \u2013 Ankara, Istanbul, Hacettepe, Gazi, and Marmara \u2013 which are among the top 1000 universities in the world. In addition, PhD candidate Foziljon Rajabov conducted research using resources at the Marmara University library.<\/p>\n

As part of the visit, Professor Posshajon Kenjayeva delivered a lecture titled “A Comparative Analysis of Modern Uzbek and Turkish Short Stories” and Associate Professor Dilafruz Muhiddinova presented on “Saida Zunnunova as a Founder of Modern Uzbek Women’s Literature” to students of the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at Istanbul University. They also familiarized themselves with the university library.<\/p>\n

At Marmara University, Professor Kenjaeva presented “A Comparative Analysis of Stories by Abdulla Qahhor and Orhan Kemal”, Associate Professor Muhiddinova gave a lecture on “Minimalist Story in Contemporary Uzbek and Arab Prose”, and PhD candidate Foziljon Rajabov presented his research on “Sufism in the Poetry of Nurullah Gen\u00e7”.<\/p>\n
