{"id":47570,"date":"2025-07-02T16:44:12","date_gmt":"2025-07-02T11:44:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tsuos.uz\/?page_id=47570"},"modified":"2025-07-02T16:44:42","modified_gmt":"2025-07-02T11:44:42","slug":"english-combating-corruption","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/tsuos.uz\/en\/english-combating-corruption\/","title":{"rendered":"Combating Corruption"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On December 11, 2024, a roundtable discussion was organized at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies by the Compliance Control Department for Combating Corruption, in cooperation with law enforcement agencies, as part of the &#8220;Open Doors Day&#8221; initiative dedicated to the International Anti-Corruption Day, marked on December 9.<\/p>\n<p>This event supports the achievement of UN Sustainable Development Goal 16 \u2013 &#8220;Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions&#8221;, by promoting anti-corruption efforts, ensuring the rule of law, and strengthening public trust.<\/p>\n<p>The roundtable was attended by F.M. Boyturaev, a leading specialist from the Tashkent City Department of the Anti-Corruption Agency. He provided detailed information on the concept of corruption, its negative impact on society, the ongoing reforms in the country, and the legal responsibilities stipulated for corrupt practices.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the event, the winners of the competition held under the slogan <strong>&#8220;<\/strong>Youth Say No to Corruption&#8221; were ceremoniously awarded.
