On December 9\u201310, 2024, Professor P. Kenjaeva, doctor of philological sciences (D.Sc.), from Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUOS), who was on a business trip to the Republic of Turkiye, participated in a conference titled \u201cThe poetic world of Shahriyar\u201d<\/em> held at one of the top 1000 universities in the world \u2014 Istanbul University. She delivered a presentation titled \u201cA comparative analysis of the poetry of Shahriyar and Rauf Parfi\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n

During the conference, the Department of Modern Turkish Languages and Literature’s master’s students attended lectures given in Turkish by Prof. P. Kenjaeva on \u201cWriters in 20th century Uzbek short fiction searching for their own voice\u201d<\/em>, and by PhD candidate Sh. Karimova on \u201cArtistic psychologism and the Turkish short story: The case of Ferid Edg\u00fc\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n

In addition, a meeting was held with Prof. Dr. Sevtap Kad\u0131o\u011flu, Dean of the Faculty of Literature at Istanbul University, where they discussed future directions for collaborative scientific research.<\/p>\n
