On November 6, 2024, a seminar-training on the topic \u201cSDG 5 \u2013 Gender Equality\u201d was held within the English language course at the Faculty of Applied Sciences of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, with participation from third-year students majoring in \u201cPhilology: Korean\u2013English\u201d.<\/p>\n

The event was organized under the supervision of English language instructor Barno Tadjiboeva. The main objective of the project was to introduce students to global issues such as gender inequality, women\u2019s rights, early marriage, and gender-based violence, while also developing their ability to express their opinions on these topics in English. Over the course of three weeks, students worked in groups, conducted research, studied English-language articles and videos, and prepared posters and interactive presentations.<\/p>\n

With 100% participation, students demonstrated a deep understanding of the topic and confidently expressed their views on pressing social issues. The results of the project were published on the official website of the university\u2019s press service.<\/p>\n
