On December 24, 2024, the School of Chinese Studies at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUOS) hosted an international roundtable titled \u201cProducing Affordable and Clean Energy \u2013 A Modern Necessity\u201d. The event featured guest speaker Professor Luo Xiaoping, an international expert from North China Electric Power University.<\/p>\n

The discussion focused on the importance of renewable energy sources\u2014such as solar, wind, and hydro energy\u2014in achieving sustainable development. Professor Luo shared China’s experience in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving air quality through clean energy solutions.<\/p>\n

The event was organized in alignment with UN Sustainable Development Goal 7: Affordable and Clean Energy, and aimed to enhance awareness and knowledge among students and faculty.<\/p>\n
