\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUOS) formally recognises the Youth Union<\/strong><\/a> as the university\u2019s official and independent students\u2019 self-governance body. The Youth Union operates by students and for students<\/em>, serving as a central platform that assists, supports, and engages students in academic, cultural, and social life at the university.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n A clear example of its recognised role in university governance is that the Leader of the Youth Union serves as the 36rd member of the University Academic Council<\/strong>, participating directly in high-level decision-making and ensuring that the student voice is heard at the university\u2019s highest governing body. <\/p>\n The Union\u2019s elected leadership structure includes:<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Its main mission is to protect students\u2019 rights and interests, promote student welfare, and ensure student representation in all communications with internal and external stakeholders, including the university administration, governmental institutions, and community organisations. The Union also plays an essential role in nurturing student leadership, civic engagement, and social responsibility.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Youth Union\u2019s executive members are elected annually by the student body, serving a one-year term. Through this democratic process, students elect their representatives to lead initiatives, advocate for their peers, and coordinate university-wide activities.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n According to its mandate, the Youth Union engages in:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The TSUOS youth union team has implemented and is still implementing a number of projects that are useful for university studies and social life:<\/p>\n \u2013 <\/strong>\u201cOriental journalists\u201d club<\/strong><\/a>,<\/strong><\/p>\n -\u201cBooking\u201d club;<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2013 <\/strong>\u201cTravel around Uzbekistan\u201d project<\/strong><\/a>;<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2013 <\/strong>\u201cZakovat\u201d club<\/strong><\/a>;<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2013 <\/strong>\u201cStudents Festival\u201d<\/strong><\/a>;<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2013 <\/strong>New Year and Navruz festivals<\/strong><\/a>;<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2013 <\/strong>Meetings with successful people<\/strong><\/a>, <\/strong>master classes<\/strong><\/a>;<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2013 <\/strong>Sports tournaments<\/strong><\/a>;<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2013 <\/strong>Charity events<\/strong><\/a>;<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2013 <\/strong>QVZ<\/strong><\/a>;<\/p>\n \u2013 <\/strong>\u00a0Spring Festival of Oriental Studies Students<\/strong><\/a>;<\/p>\n \u2013 <\/strong>Cybersport<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n For the 2025\u20132026 academic year, Sobitov Mirshod<\/strong>, a student of the Faculty of Eastern Civilization and Philosophy, was elected as the Union\u2019s leader.<\/p>\n Through the recognition of the Youth Union, TSUOS guarantees students\u2019 independent voice in university governance and reinforces its commitment to democratic participation, equality, and student empowerment.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The report of the Youth Union for the 2025\u20132026 academic year is provided below in Uzbek:<\/em><\/p>\n Report of the Youth Union for 2025<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n
