IDENTIFY AND ENGAGE WITH LOCAL STAKEHOLDERS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Adopted policy: 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Last reviewed: 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Objective<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To systematically identify, prioritise and engage relevant local stakeholders \u2014 businesses, government agencies, NGOs, community groups, alumni \u2014 in order to co-create, implement and scale TSUOS\u2019s sustainability-oriented research, educational and societal initiatives.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Scope<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>This programme will cover:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Stakeholder mapping &amp; classification<\/li>\n<li>Engagement strategy development<\/li>\n<li>Partnership formation &amp; memorandum of understanding processes<\/li>\n<li>Ongoing collaboration, monitoring &amp; feedback loops<\/li>\n<li>Inclusion of diversity, equity and social responsibility principles<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Key Phases &amp; Activities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Phase 1: Preparation &amp; Stakeholder Mapping <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Activities:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Define TSUOS\u2019s strategic priorities relevant to sustainability\/SDGs (e.g., curriculum integration, community-research, local innovation, SDG 16, etc.).<\/li>\n<li>Develop a stakeholder mapping template (e.g., stakeholder name, type, interests, influence\/power, alignment with TSUOS goals, potential role).<\/li>\n<li>Identify a preliminary list of stakeholder categories: local businesses, municipal\/regional government agencies, NGOs\/community organisations, alumni networks, research partners, student organisations.<\/li>\n<li>Populate the template with potential stakeholders in Tashkent and wider Uzbekistan (and possibly Central Asia) region.<\/li>\n<li>Prioritise stakeholders (e.g., high relevance + high influence = priority; Formalisation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Activities:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>For each priority stakeholder (or stakeholder group), develop an engagement strategy: what TSUOS can offer, what the stakeholder\u2019s interest is, potential collaboration models (internships, joint research, workshops, advisory boards).<\/li>\n<li>Draft templates for MoUs \/ MoAs (memoranda of understanding\/agreements) to define roles, responsibilities, expected outcomes, timelines and resources.<\/li>\n<li>Organise an initial stakeholder forum or round-table event (invite priority stakeholders, TSUOS faculty, students) to share TSUOS\u2019s vision, hear stakeholder interests, co-brainstorm collaboration opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Establish internal TSUOS coordination mechanism (e.g., a \u201cStakeholder Engagement Taskforce\u201d with representatives from research office, academic units, student services, international relations) to manage engagement and follow-up.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Deliverables:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Engagement strategy document<\/li>\n<li>MoU \/ MoA templates<\/li>\n<li>Minutes &amp;
