The international scientific seminar titled \u201cCultural Connections along the Silk Road\u201d was organized by the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUOS) in cooperation with the Dunhuang Studies Center of Lanzhou University.<\/p>\n

The event was held as an important academic initiative contributing to the implementation of SDG 4 \u2013 Quality Education. The seminar took place on December 12, 2025, in Tashkent and was jointly organized by the Institute of Dunhuang Studies of Lanzhou University and TSUOS. Scholars in the fields of history, Oriental studies, and humanities from both universities, along with more than 50 researchers, participated in the event.<\/p>\n

During the seminar, academic presentations and discussions were held on topics including the history of the Silk Road during the Han and Tang dynasties, Buddhist cave art, interethnic cultural interactions, historical-geographical processes, and cultural heritage preservation. Special attention was given to strengthening international academic cooperation, exchanging scientific experience, and improving the quality of historical research.<\/p>\n

As a result, participants had the opportunity to present their research findings, explore new methodological approaches, and integrate into the international academic community. The seminar thus contributed to the development of inclusive and quality education, enhancement of scientific potential, and strengthening of global academic cooperation, fully aligning with the goals of SDG 4 \u2013 Quality Education.<\/p>\n
