On May 16, 2025, the second day of the Uzbekistan\u2013United Kingdom Education Forum was held at the Regent Campus of the University of Westminster in London.<\/p>\n
During the forum, Gulchehra Rixsiyeva, Rector of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUOS), delivered a presentation at one of the forum\u2019s key sessions entitled \u201cInclusive Higher Education.\u201d In her speech, she highlighted the ongoing reforms in the field of inclusive education in Uzbekistan and presented TSUOS\u2019s strategies for advancing inclusivity through international cooperation.<\/p>\n
The session focused on discussions related to the development of inclusive university curricula, the launch of new collaborative projects, and the exchange of experiences based on the \u201cGood Practice Guide.\u201d<\/p>\n
The active participation of the TSUOS delegation in the forum represents an important step toward strengthening international cooperation and expanding academic partnerships.<\/p>\n
At the conclusion of the session, the leadership of the University of Westminster announced that a new project on inclusive education, involving higher education institutions from Uzbekistan, would be funded by the British Council. TSUOS will participate in the project as one of its partner institutions.<\/p>\n
