On December 11, the Republican scientific-practical conference “Forum of interpreters of Uzbekistan – 2019” was held at the Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies as part of the planned activities approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 133-F of February 25, 2019.<\/p>\n

Carrying out the Republican scientific-practical conference “Forum of Translators of Uzbekistan – 2019” is of great importance in history of translation, developmental principles of translation, stylistics and criticism of translation, linguistic cultural aspects of translation, problems of modern prose and poetry, reproduction of the author’s style, problems of development of synchronous translation, translation of scientific and technical and publicist texts; translation of samples of Uzbek literature into the languages of the Orient, as well as the translation of Oriental languages into Uzbek.<\/p>\n

The forum was attended by the Writers’ Union R. Khaydarova, ND Ilin, Director of the Institute of Uzbek Language, Literature and Folklore of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan N.Mahmudov; the national writer of Uzbekistan Muhammad Ali, the translator scholars Z.Isomiddinov, R.Abdullaeva, from the Tashkent branch of the Russian State Oil and Gas Institute the prof. G. Mansurova, a Korean researcher Yeon Sangxeum, and Researchers and translators from various universities and organizations of the republic.<\/p>\n

At the Forum of Translators topical issues like the history of translation and its study, the development trends of the second half of the twentieth century, the linguistic aspects of literary translation, the problems of modern prose and poetry, the relevance of simultaneous translation, the development of scientific and technical translation in the 21st century were discussed.<\/p>\n
