From April 16, 2021, Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies has been organizing weekly events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Sh. Shomuhamedov , who is honored Scientist of Uzbekistan, Laureate of the International Ferdowsi Prize, well-known translator-poet, intelligent orientalist.
\nToday, April 20, university students held an event dedicated to the life and scientific work of Sh. Sho Muhamedov. At the event, students recited rubai by Sh. Shomuhamedov and rubai by Umar Khayyam, which was translated by teacher
\nStudents and the theater group also participated with excerpts from the epic “Shohnoma” translated by the teacher and songs in Persian. At the end of the event, Shomuhamedov’s son Alisher Shomuhamedov presented gifts to talented young people with sincere wishes. Rector of the University G.Ash.Rixsiyeva also presented certificates of honor to creative, talented and active students.<\/p>\n
