On April 14, Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies hosted a ceremony awarding the winners of the “Pride of our Academic Lyceum” and “Rector’s Scholarship”. The event was opened by the Rector of the University Rikhsiyeva Gulchehra Shovkatovna, who congratulated the scholarship holders on their achievements and wished them success in their future careers.
\nThese scholarships were introduced in accordance with the tasks set by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 3, 2020 No 4910 “On measures to improve the system of selection of talented youth and academic lyceums.” The winners will be selected from the most deserving candidates each academic year by conducting a competition among students of academic lyceums at the university. This year, 10 students of the academic lyceum were awarded the scholarship “Pride of our academic lyceum” and 4 students were awarded the “Rector’s scholarship” with a scholarship equal to double the base calculation.<\/p>\n
