At the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, on the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey, a round table on the topic \u201ctoday and next of Uzbek-Turkish relations\u201d was organized and a professor of the Department \u201cTranslatology and international journalism\u201d Khairulla Hamidov presented a book titled \u201c\u00d6zbek Edebiyatindan Se\u00e7me Eserler: Hik\u00e2yeler-\u015eiirler (Antoloji)\u201c to mark the 32nd anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the Republic of Turkey, the 105th anniversary of the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies and the 30th anniversary of the foundation of the TURKSOY international Turkic culture organization. The roundtable discussion was opened by the rector of the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, professor Gulchehra Rikhsiyeva. Olgan Bekar, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Uzbekistan, spoke at the roundtable discussion.
