On December 14, 2023, the International Scientific and Practical Conference \u201cTranslation Forum \u2013 2023\u201d was held at the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies.<\/p>\n

The conference was attended by the rector of TSUOS G.Rikhsiyeva, the chairman of the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan Sirojiddin Sayyid, associate professor of TOBB ETU Tashkent Nurgul Bekar, as well as faculty and industry experts.<\/p>\n

During the conference, there were discussed issues such as the history of translation studies, stylistics and criticism of translation, linguocultural aspects of literary translation, development of the field of simultaneous translation, translation of samples of Uzbek literature into the languages of Eastern peoples, current problems related to the implementation of literary translation from Eastern languages into Uzbek.<\/p>\n
