From April 30 to May 3, 2024, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan held the 6th World Intercultural Dialogue Forum on the theme “Dialogue for Peace and Global Security: Cooperation and Interdependence” in Baku, Azerbaijan.<\/p>\n

    At the forum, views were exchanged on the expansion of intercultural communication in the period of high importance of global security.<\/p>\n

    More than 2000 guests from more than 150 countries of the world participated in the forum. The forum was opened by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilhom Aliyev.<\/p>\n

    On May 2, a meeting was held with professor Dilbar Zeynalova, head of the Turkic Studies Department of Hazar University in Baku. He gave a lecture about the literary relations between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan to the students and teachers of the department.<\/p>\n

    On May 3, He visited Baku State University of Azerbaijan. There he met the dean of the Faculty of Oriental Philology, professor Aydan Khandan and the deputy dean Nigora.<\/p>\n

    J. Shabanov met with professors Almas Ulvi and Yashar Kasimov, scholars of Uzbek literature, at the Institute of Language and Literature of the Azerbaijan Academy of Sciences.
