On July 7, 2024, an international seminar titled \u201cConfucius Institutes and Intercivilizational Mutual Learning\u201d was held at the Uzbekistan\u2013China Institute named after Confucius under the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies.<\/p>\n

In honor of the 20th anniversary of the Confucius Institutes, the seminar was attended by Mr. Zhao Leji, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People\u2019s Congress of China, Mr. Zhao Lingshan, Secretary-General of the Chinese International Education Foundation, and Mr. Huai Jinpeng, Minister of Education of the People\u2019s Republic of China.<\/p>\n

Also, this prestigious international event was attended by Ms. Tanzila Narbayeva, Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Mr. Qo\u2018ng\u2018irotboy Sharipov, Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, as well as representatives of Confucius Institutes in Central Asia, heads of leading higher education institutions of our country, and experts in the field.<\/p>\n

Every step taken in developing bilateral relations in the fields of education, science, culture, and the humanities contributes to strengthening the friendship between our peoples. It is especially gratifying that this cooperation directly concerns the interests of our younger generation and future leaders.
