On December 14, 2024, the VIII Forum of Translators \u2013 2024 International Scientific and Practical Conference was held at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUOS)<\/p>\n

The event was opened by TSUOS Rector Gulchekhra Rikhsiyeva, who discussed current issues in the field of translation, including literary and scientific translations, as well as modern translation methods. The conference also received best wishes from Ge Hongbin, Director of the Center for Literature and Creative Writing at Shanghai University (China), and Huseyn Baydemir, Director of the Institute for Turkish Studies at Ataturk University (Turkey). Leading scholars, translators, and specialists from countries including China, Turkey, India, Russia, and Tajikistan participated in the forum with their presentations.<\/p>\n

They exchanged views on the difficulties of translating works into various languages and the modern challenges of translation studies. At the end of the conference, the participants shared experiences and outlined plans for future cooperation.<\/p>\n
