On February 15, 2025, the V International Forum \u201cSustainable Development: Inclusive Education and Women\u2019s Initiatives\u201d was held at TSUOS in honor of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.<\/p>\n

The main goal of the event was to discuss the expansion of women\u2019s participation in science, the development of an inclusive education system, and the strengthening of international cooperation on gender equality.<\/p>\n

The forum was opened by the rector of TSUOS, Professor Gulchehra Rikhsieva. The following distinguished guests delivered speeches: Zulayho Mahkamova \u2013 Chairperson of the Committee on Family and Women\u2019s Affairs, Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan; Nigina Abaszade \u2013 Permanent Representative of the UN Population Fund in Uzbekistan; Shirin Abidova \u2013 Head of the Uzbekistan Volunteers Association; Umida Abdullayeva \u2013 Head of the Women\u2019s Affairs Department at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan; Malika Kodirkhanova \u2013 Chairperson of the Committee on Women and Gender Equality of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis; Denise Waddingham \u2013 Director of the British Council in Uzbekistan.<\/p>\n
