On March 28, 2025, the first meeting of the \u201cUzbekistan Sinologists\u201d Association, established under the Uzbekistan-China Research Center, was held at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUOS).<\/p>\n

The event was attended by TSUOS Rector Gulchehra Rikhsieva, Head of SCO People\u2019s Diplomacy in Uzbekistan Qobiljon Sobirov, First Secretary of the Embassy of the People\u2019s Republic of China in Uzbekistan Sun ChangDong, as well as sinology professors and teachers.<\/p>\n

The meeting discussed ways to develop Sinology in Uzbekistan, the role of the Higher School of Sinology and the Confucius Institute at TSUOS. Additionally, issues related to strengthening scientific ties between Uzbekistan and China, exchanging experiences among sinologists and specialists, and advancing research in the field of Sinology were discussed.<\/p>\n
