On May 6, 2025, TSUOS hosted a roundtable discussion on the topic \u201cCurrent Issues in Studying the Scientific and Literary Legacy of Mahmudkhoja Behbudi.\u201d<\/p>\n

The event was held as part of the implementation of the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 27, 2024, on widely celebrating the 150th anniversary of Mahmudkhoja Behbudi \u2014 a prominent writer, public figure, publisher, and educator, and the founder of the Jadid movement in Turkestan.<\/p>\n

Leading scholars in the field of Jadid studies participated in the roundtable. Director General of the Cinematography Agency and professor Shuhrat Rizaev, First Deputy Chairman of the Writers\u2019 Union of Uzbekistan Minhojiddin Mirzo, and faculty members shared new academic insights into the life and work of Mahmudkhoja Behbudi.<\/p>\n
