<\/a><\/p>\nVice-Rector for Academic Affairs of TSUOS , Doctor of Political Science, Professor N. Abdullayev, gave a lecture titled \u201cTraining Oriental Specialists in Uzbekistan,\u201d in which he provided an in-depth overview of the development and evolution of oriental studies in Uzbekistan, as well as the training of professionals in this field.<\/p>\n
Head of the Higher School of Sinology, PhD, Associate Professor F. Khasanova, delivered a lecture to graduate students and doctoral researchers on the topic \u201cResearch by Uzbek Sinologists on the History of Dunhuang.\u201d She emphasized that Dunhuang, located at the crossroads of the Great Silk Road and historically the gateway for Chinese trade caravans, was not only a hub for economic exchange but also a center of scientific, cultural, and educational significance.<\/p>\n Head of the Student Services Department at TSUOS, K. Imomnazarov, in his lecture titled \u201cThe Study of Dunhuang Monuments in Central Asian Scholars\u2019 Research,\u201d highlighted the development of historical, cultural, and trade relations between ancient Central Asian cities and the western regions of China.<\/p>\n The lectures by the TSUOS representatives at Lanzhou University were organized as part of the international academic research project between the two countries\u2019 higher education institutions under the theme \u201cDunhuang Culture to the World.\u201d Chinese researchers showed great interest in the presentations of the Uzbek scholars.<\/p>\n On May 8, 2025, representatives of the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies delivered lectures to master\u2019s and doctoral students at Lanzhou University who are studying and conducting research on the history of ancient China and the peoples of Central Asia.
