Short-term practical research is ongoing as part of the summer school for international scholarship holders organized by the \u201cOne Belt, One Road\u201d Institute of Cultural and Scientific Research of Shaanxi Normal University (PRC), under the theme \u201cA Glimpse into the Past from Chang\u2019an: From the Great Silk Road to the Belt and Road Initiative.\u201d<\/p>\n

DSc student Sh. Shamsiyeva from TSUOS and doctoral candidates M. Inomjonova, G. Kholmatova, and M. Normayeva are actively participating in this summer school. During the program, participants are attending lectures by several professors on ancient and modern Chinese history, the origins of Chinese characters, and the cultural heritage of Dunhuang. As part of the practical component, they are also visiting various museums.<\/p>\n

In addition, course participants visited the university\u2019s exhibition on the historical and cultural monuments of Dunhuang and explored research materials relevant to their academic fields in the university library.<\/p>\n
