On October 20, 2025, a spiritual and educational event titled \u201cMay Your Dignity and Honor Rise High, My Mother Tongue!\u201d was held at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies.<\/p>\n

The event was dedicated to the anniversary of the adoption of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan \u201cOn the State Language.\u201d It was attended by the university administration, professors, students, and linguists.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

During the event, participants discussed the role of the mother tongue in shaping national identity, the importance of language policy, and the ongoing reforms aimed at enhancing the status of the state language. Respect and admiration for the Uzbek language were expressed through poetry readings, songs, and theatrical performances.<\/p>\n

In addition, Gulbahor Kulmatova, Deputy of the Mirabad District Council of People\u2019s Deputies, awarded the winners of competitions for videos, popular science articles, and wall newspapers held under the motto \u201cLanguage \u2013 the Key to Culture\u201d and within the framework of the \u201cMass Dictation\u201d initiative.<\/p>\n

At the end of the event, participants were reminded of the importance of preserving and promoting the Uzbek language and contributing actively to its further development.<\/p>\n
