Researcher and source studies specialist from the University of Pisa (Italy)<\/strong>, Matteo Cecchetti<\/strong>, has been undergoing a professional development program at the Department of History of the Peoples of Central Asia <\/strong>of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUOS)<\/strong> since October 20, 2025<\/strong>, within the framework of the Erasmus+ ICM (International Credit Mobility)<\/strong> program.<\/p>\n

During the professional development process, the researcher was introduced to the department\u2019s scientific potential, academic staff, as well as its educational and research activities. In addition, he was provided access to the university library\u2019s source collection, particularly to ancient materials related to the history and culture of Central Asia.<\/p>\n

At the department, Senior Lecturer Isobek Khudoynazarov<\/strong> was assigned as the researcher\u2019s advisor (tutor). Based on Matteo Cecchetti\u2019s academic specialization and research topic, a special academic schedule was developed to involve him as an observer in relevant courses within the department\u2019s curriculum.
