<strong data-start=\"2084\" data-end=\"2140\">Lanzhou University of the People\u2019s Republic of China<\/strong> paid an official visit to the <strong data-start=\"2171\" data-end=\"2228\">Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUOS)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2233\" data-end=\"2483\">During the meeting, the parties held discussions on expanding the existing memoranda of cooperation between the two universities, launching new joint scientific and educational projects, and further developing student and faculty exchange programs.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2233\" discussions focused on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"2532\" data-end=\"2663\"><strong data-start=\"2532\" data-end=\"2566\">Expanding academic cooperation<\/strong> in the fields of history, tourism, international journalism, economics, and Chinese philology;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2666\" data-end=\"2950\"><strong data-start=\"2666\" data-end=\"2742\">Developing a joint \u201c2+2\u201d educational program in International Journalism<\/strong>, establishing preferential tuition policies for Uzbek students, and preparing a tripartite agreement involving Lanzhou University, TSUOS, and the International Chinese Language Education Center of the PRC;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2953\" data-end=\"3136\"><strong data-start=\"2953\" data-end=\"3001\">Implementing international research projects<\/strong> in history, economics, language, and literature, as well as producing joint monographs, textbooks, and other scholarly publications;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3139\" data-end=\"3296\"><strong data-start=\"3139\" data-end=\"3211\">Participation in the Annual International Chinese Studies Conference<\/strong>, held each November, through the preparation of academic papers and presentations;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3299\" data-end=\"3526\"><strong data-start=\"3299\" data-end=\"3366\">Enhancing Chinese language education and curriculum development<\/strong>, including teacher training, creation of Chinese language textbooks aligned with Uzbekistan\u2019s national education standards, and joint publishing initiatives;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3529\" data-end=\"3681\"><strong data-start=\"3529\" data-end=\"3607\">Organizing language training courses for Chinese specialists in Uzbekistan<\/strong>, offering short- and long-term programs in Uzbek
