The Rector of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUOS), Professor Gulchekhra Rikhsiyeva, participated in the 12th International Forum titled \u201cThe Values of Humanities in the 21st Century\u201d, held in Andong, Republic of Korea.<\/p>\n

Within the framework of the forum, Professor G. Rikhsiyeva delivered a presentation on \u201cStudying Cultural and Spiritual Heritage as a Key Direction in Honoring Human Values and Strengthening International Cooperation.\u201d<\/p>\n

In her speech, she emphasized that Uzbekistan is one of the cradles of ancient culture and science \u2014 a center of Renaissances \u2014 and highlighted the rich heritage of the nation\u2019s great scholars and historic cities. She also discussed the significance of cultural diplomacy in today\u2019s global context, elaborating on the main directions of the \u201cNew Uzbekistan\u201d strategy and the large-scale reforms being implemented in the country.<\/p>\n

She further touched upon the essence of the 43rd UNESCO Session taking place in Samarkand and presented a short video about it.<\/p>\n

During the discussions, participants explored the crucial role of the humanities in human capital development and shared Uzbekistan\u2019s higher education experience.<\/p>\n

At the same forum, the Head of the TSUOS Higher School of Korean Studies, Yeon Sam Heon, also presented his lecture.<\/p>\n
