TSIOS signs an agreement with Sultan Idris Education University
\nOn 19 September Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies was visited by representatives of Sultan Idris Education University. During the meeting Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Sultan Idris Education University. The agreement concerns student and staff mobility as well as establishing joint teaching programmes.
\nThe Malaysian delegation, led by vice chancellor YBhg. Professor Dato\u2019 Dr. Muhammad Shatar bin Sabran was received by the Rector of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies Prof. Abdurahim Mannanov.
\nIn his welcome address, Prof. Abdurahim Mannanov stressed the role of cooperation between TSUOS and SIEU. Prof. Abdurahim Mannanov presented the representatives of Sultan Idris Education University with most important facts about TSUOS.
\nThe participants of the meeting discussed the steps necessary to develop the cooperation in the area of student and staff mobility as well as joint research and study programmes.
\nThe cooperation between the university will focus on:
\n\u2022 Student and teaching staff exchange;
\n\u2022 Student mobility;
\n\u2022 Exchange of research materials, publications and information;
\n\u2022 Establishing joint and double degree programmes;<\/p>\n
