On March 12, 2026, a meeting between the rector and youth was held at the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies with the participation of graduating students. During the event, the rector delivered a speech on important initiatives put forward by the President during his dialogue with young people and listened to the opinions and suggestions of the students.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, several important issues were discussed. In particular, the 100 percent employment of fourth-year graduating students was addressed. Information was also presented about presentations prepared by students based on their internship experiences. In addition, it was emphasized that within the framework of the \u201cStep into the Future for Graduates\u201d project, loans will be allocated to support business projects in 10 different areas.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, it was noted that starting this year, students undertaking internships will receive a monthly allowance of 2 million Uzbek soums from the state. Free training courses will also be organized for young people who wish to engage in entrepreneurial activities.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, information was also presented about several new opportunities aimed at supporting young people and developing their initiatives. In particular, it was noted that 20 start-up projects will be encouraged and supported in order to promote entrepreneurial activity among students.<\/p>\n

It was also emphasized that for students studying the Japanese language, career-oriented projects will be launched in cooperation with Yamataka University in Japan, aimed at developing professional skills and expanding employment opportunities.<\/p>\n

In addition, free online courses will be provided to improve financial literacy among young people.<\/p>\n

The meeting also highlighted that agreements have been signed with universities in Turkey, China, and the Republic of Korea to implement 1+1 master\u2019s degree programs, which will allow students to study part of their program at foreign universities.<\/p>\n
