On March 26, 2026, a delegation led by Yuliya Aleksandrovna Lysenko, Director of the \u201cGreater Altai\u201d Research and Educational Center for Altaic and Turkic Studies, visited the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

During the meeting, representatives of Altai State University of the Russian Federation and Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies discussed issues related to the development of academic and scientific cooperation. Several key initiatives were proposed:
\n1. Sending TSUOS Turkologists to Altai State University under academic exchange programs;
\n2. Involving students and young researchers in summer schools;
\n3. Conducting joint research and projects in the field of Turkic studies;
\n4. Joint study of historical Turkic sites in the Altai Republic;
\n5. Co-organization of scientific conferences, seminars, and roundtable discussions.<\/p>\n

The parties also discussed expanding bilateral cooperation in Turkology, including joint projects on studying historical Turkic sites in the Altai Republic. Agreements were reached on academic exchanges, participation in summer schools, and implementation of joint research projects.
\nThe delegation conveyed warm greetings from Rector Sergey Nikolayevich and proposed attracting Uzbek students to study in Altai.
\nSeveral concrete agreements were achieved:
\n\u2022 involvement of Altai State University students in TSUOS academic programs;
\n\u2022 establishment of student exchange programs between the two universities;<\/p>\n

\u2022 co-publication of Volume III of books within Altai State University projects and translation of previous volumes into Uzbek;
\n\u2022 confirmation of Altai State University as an official partner in international conferences hosted by TSUOS.<\/p>\n

Within the framework of the \u201cGreater Altai\u201d project, the following were agreed:
\n\u2014 engagement of TSUOS faculty members as experts;
\n\u2014 organization of free summer expeditions for TSUOS students;
\n\u2014 regular promotion of TSUOS Turkology research on Altai State University and \u201cGreater Altai\u201d platforms;
\n\u2014 translation and dissemination of \u201cGreater Altai\u201d project materials into Uzbek.
