<\/a><\/p>\nThe event was organized on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the First Turkological Congress, which took place in 1926 in Baku, and was conducted in accordance with the relevant decree of Ilham Aliyev.<\/p>\n
The seminar brought together high-ranking government and public figures, members of parliament, academics, and prominent scholars from both countries, as well as representatives of scientific and educational institutions, researchers, and students.<\/p>\n The event was opened by Durbek Sayfullayev, Vice Rector of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, and Guseyn Guliyev, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Uzbekistan.<\/p>\n During the seminar, members of the academic community spoke about the historical significance of the First Turkological Congress, the role of Turkic peoples in the history of scientific thought, and the continuation of this legacy in the modern era.<\/p>\n As part of the seminar, presentations were delivered on various areas of Turkology, while discussions focused on the common linguistic, literary, and cultural heritage of Turkic peoples, as well as modern research being conducted in this field.<\/p>\n The event was dedicated to the memory of Khalid Said Khojayev, a distinguished Azerbaijani scholar, linguist, public figure, and one of the organizers of the First Turkological Congress, who was of Uzbek origin.<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n
