On May 5, 2026, an international conference titled \u201cScientific Tradition in Islamic Civilization: Sources, Opportunities and Current Issues\u201d was held at the Center of Islamic Civilization of Uzbekistan. A delegation from Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies also participated in this prestigious event.<\/p>\n

At the beginning of the conference, a video presentation about the activities of the Center of Islamic Civilization of Uzbekistan was shown.<\/p>\n

Afterwards, speeches were delivered by Dr. Muzaffar Kamilov, Head of the Department for Religious and Educational Affairs of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan; Dr. Firdavs Abdukhalikov, Director of the Center of Islamic Civilization of Uzbekistan; Her Majesty Raja Zarith Sofiah of Malaysia; Malaysia\u2019s Minister of Higher Education Datuk Seri Diraja Zambry Abdul Kadir; Uzbekistan\u2019s Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Professor Kongratbay Sharipov; and Professor Dr. Alparslan A\u00e7\u0131kgen\u00e7 of Ibn Haldun University in T\u00fcrkiye.<\/p>\n
