On May 14, 2026, the Higher School of Iranian and Afghan Studies at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies organized a scientific and educational conference entitled \u201cIn Memory of Abulqasim Ferdowsi,\u201d dedicated to the great thinker and master of words Abulqasim Ferdowsi.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The event was attended by the university administration, professors, teachers, students, and representatives of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Uzbekistan.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

During the conference, professors and lecturers of the Higher School of Iranian and Afghan Studies delivered presentations devoted to the epic \u201cShahnameh,\u201d its artistic, historical, and spiritual significance. In particular, Nodir Nuriddinov, Hasan Safarkhoni, Mohammadreza Aslani, and Oydin Turdiyeva presented reports on Ferdowsi\u2019s \u0442\u0432\u043e\u0440\u0447\u0435\u0441\u0442\u0432\u043e, the heroes of the \u201cShahnameh,\u201d and artistic styles in Iranian literature.<\/p>\n

As part of the event, students recited poetic excerpts from Ferdowsi\u2019s works, musical performances were presented, and a quiz titled \u201cDo You Know the Shahnameh?\u201d was organized. In addition, active participants of the \u201cArtistic Styles in Iranian Literature\u201d club were awarded.<\/p>\n

The conference contributed to the promotion of masterpieces of classical Eastern literature and helped strengthen young people\u2019s interest in and respect for classical heritage.<\/p>\n
