On June 5, 2026, Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies hosted a meeting with Professor Walid Ziad, a representative of Georgetown University in Qatar and its Center for International and Regional Studies (CIRS).<\/p>\n

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the development of education, scientific research, academic mobility, and prospects for international cooperation. Particular attention was given to collaborative research on Central and South Asia, joint research projects, faculty and student exchange programs, and the organization of international conferences.<\/p>\n

The participants also held preliminary discussions regarding the Proposal of Collaboration Form submitted to establish institutional cooperation between Georgetown University in Qatar and Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies.<\/p>\n
