On 3 July 2026<\/strong>, an online meeting was held between representatives of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUOS)<\/strong> and Chungbuk National University<\/strong> of the Republic of Korea.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, the two universities discussed in detail ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation, establish a student exchange program, expand academic mobility, and implement promising projects in the field of master’s education.<\/p>\n

One of the key topics of the discussions was Chungbuk National University’s “Global 3+2 (4+1.5) Bachelor’s-to-Master’s Program.”<\/strong> The participants noted that negotiations regarding the implementation of the program have reached the final stage and expressed confidence that a mutually beneficial and practical agreement will be finalized in the near future.<\/p>\n

The implementation of this program will provide TSUOS students with the opportunity to participate in academic exchange programs during their undergraduate studies. Upon successful completion of their bachelor’s degree, they will be eligible to apply for master’s programs at Chungbuk National University and compete for the university’s scholarship and grant opportunities. This initiative will create an important pathway for TSUOS graduates to pursue internationally recognized master’s education at one of the Republic of Korea’s leading universities.<\/p>\n

The meeting also included discussions on the practical implementation of student exchange programs, the development of academic mobility mechanisms, joint research initiatives, faculty exchange programs, and further expansion of cooperation between the two universities.<\/p>\n

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to continuously strengthening their strategic partnership, creating new international opportunities for students and faculty members, and implementing joint projects that serve the interests of both institutions.<\/p>\n

The meeting marked another significant step in expanding TSUOS’s international partnerships, increasing overseas educational opportunities for its students, and developing long-term academic cooperation with leading universities in the Republic of Korea.<\/p>\n
