An online meeting was held between representatives of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUOS)<\/strong> and Hebei University of International Studies (China)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The meeting served as a continuation of the official negotiations held at TSUOS in June this year. During the discussion, the parties comprehensively reviewed the draft Memorandum of Understanding<\/strong> planned to be signed between the two universities, as well as the priority areas for its implementation.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, representatives of Hebei University of International Studies proposed several initiatives aimed at establishing long-term cooperation with TSUOS. In particular, the parties discussed the establishment of a Silk Road College<\/strong> at TSUOS, the launch of joint educational programs, the introduction of a mutual credit recognition system, the expansion of faculty and student exchange programs, and the development of modern joint academic curricula.<\/p>\n

Special attention was paid to the development of 2+2 joint bachelor’s degree programs<\/strong>, integrated educational pathways covering bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels, as well as cooperation in training simultaneous interpreters specializing in the Chinese and Uzbek languages.<\/p>\n

The participants also discussed opportunities for faculty exchange, joint scientific research, cooperation within international grant projects, and the involvement of highly qualified Chinese language specialists in the educational process.<\/p>\n

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides agreed to develop a Joint Roadmap for 2026\u20132027<\/strong>, finalize the Cooperation Agreement, and gradually begin implementing practical activities across all agreed areas.<\/p>\n

The online meeting marked another important step toward strengthening the strategic partnership between the two universities, implementing new projects in education, research, and academic exchange, and further enhancing higher education cooperation between Uzbekistan and China.<\/p>\n
