On August 21, 2026, a meeting was held at the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUOS) with representatives of the Japan International Cooperation Center (JICE) and the Japan Building Maintenance Association (JBMA).<\/div>\n
During the meeting, the foreign delegation was briefed on the system of training specialists in Japan Studies at TSUOS. Information was shared regarding the textbooks and educational-methodological literature used in the educational process, the practical language environment created for students, and the future professional activities of graduates. Opinions were also exchanged on the opportunities for graduates to work in education, translation, international relations, public and private sectors, as well as various fields related to Japan.<\/div>\n

Special attention was focused on the Japanese language preparation of citizens planning to study, work, or pursue other professional activities in Japan. TSUOS and JICE discussed prospects for teaching the Japanese language in accordance with labor market demands, implementing modern educational-methodological materials and advanced pedagogical approaches, organizing professional development and experience exchange programs for professors and teachers, as well as conducting seminars and training sessions for students dedicated to Japan’s working environment and career opportunities.<\/div>\n

The next part of the meeting featured a dialogue with the representatives of the Japan Building Maintenance Association (JBMA). The discussion covered the demand for qualified personnel, professional requirements in this field, special qualification exams, and opportunities to attract candidates from Uzbekistan. It was proposed to explore mechanisms for exchanging information with JBMA member companies and connecting candidates trained in Uzbekistan with job opportunities in Japan.<\/div>\n

At the conclusion of the negotiations, TSUOS, JICE, and JBMA agreed to establish systemic and long-term cooperation. They resolved to maintain regular information exchange, organize joint seminars and training sessions, and continue collaboration on adapting Japanese language education and professional training to the requirements of the international labor market.<\/div>\n
This meeting is of high significance in terms of raising the practical cooperation of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies with Japanese organizations to a new level, improving the quality of Japan Studies education, strengthening the competitiveness of students and graduates in the international labor market, and expanding education and employment opportunities for youth in Japan.<\/div>\n
