Duties of the center
– Comprehensive study of the history, stages of development, features of socio-political, economic development and development models of the Eastern countries, study from the point of view of the development of relations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Eastern countries;
– Conducting analytics in the direction of political research in harmony with the educational process, production, by directly applying its results to the educational process, production, the current state and development problems of the cooperation of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the Eastern countries, and systematic study of perspectives and preparation of materials in this regard;
– Analysis of socio-political, economic processes, problems, development trends in countries of strategic importance for Uzbekistan in the Near, Middle and Far East regions, development of bilateral and multilateral relations, new opportunities for state and public organizations, business sector Develop scientifically based recommendations and suggestions for finding;
– To study the socio-economic situation in the Eastern countries, the generality and uniqueness of foreign policy, to analyze the historical and economic aspects of the formation of foreign policy, the mechanisms, concepts, doctrines, documents in determining the foreign political strategy, social, economic indicators and development reveal trends;
– To study the specific aspects of the concept of the East and the West and the development trends in the current international relations, to study the trends in the formation of the mutual relations of the Eastern countries and the factors and conditions that influenced the development;
– Active participation in the formation of a new generation of Oriental experts who can research and analyze international relations and foreign policy.
– State organizations, various organizations interested in developing the economy based on their opportunities and conditions, creating the necessary advantages for citizens, searching for new aspects of bilateral and multilateral cooperation based on the study of socio-economic political processes in Eastern countries from the perspective of country studies. , preparation of scientific analytical developments for production entities;
– To monitor the new political reality that is forming and developing in Central Asia, to identify emerging and possible problems, threats, and to develop “Concepts”, “Strategies” intended for the immediate and distant future, which control the development processes;
– To identify new tasks in foreign policy, new aspects of priorities, factors, problems and conditions, as well as models for the development and implementation of modern methods and mechanisms for protecting national interests at the East-West junction;
– Development of start-up, innovative projects together with talented students, masters, doctoral students, establishing close cooperation with scientific research institutions of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, conducting scientific seminars and project presentations.
The center performs the following tasks in accordance with the tasks assigned to it:
– The university carries out scientific research works and research works based on the work plan of the center;
– organizes seminars, roundtable discussions, conferences on current issues of international relations and foreign policy, as well as the current state of economic and cultural processes;
– prepares analytical articles, analytical reports to convey research results to the general public based on the approved plan of the University and the Center;
– Participates in the preparation of educational courses and educational literature in cooperation with foreign experts;
– participates in other analytical projects that do not conflict with the goals and objectives of the university;
– University professors, students, researchers, masters, as well as employees of state management bodies, representatives of analytical centers, scientific institutions, specialists of foreign countries are involved in the organization of the work of the center;
– Coordinates graduation qualification works, master’s and doctoral dissertations and various scientific researches and analytical projects carried out by the university in the fields of foreign policy and international policy, economic and cultural spheres in cooperation with the departments;
– The University develops proposals for providing scientific-methodical and methodological support to scientific research, studying and applying advanced foreign experiences of conducting scientific and analytical research on foreign policy and international relations;
– Prepares analytical materials on various directions of international relations in Eastern countries.
