The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Uzbekistan, Ahmad Farooq, visited TSUOL

On October 8, 2025, Ahmad Farooq, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Republic of Uzbekistan, and his deputy Tuba Asif visited Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUOS). During the meeting, Ambassador Ahmad Farooq emphasized the growing cooperation between Uzbekistan and Pakistan in various fields.

As part of the visit, a draft cooperation roadmap was signed between TSUOS and the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Uzbekistan, covering the period from October 2025 to December 2026.

During the discussions, special attention was given to organizing academic exchanges of students and faculty members, conducting joint scientific research, holding international conferences and seminars, and studying the rich cultural heritage of both countries.

It was noted that this cooperation roadmap plays an important role in elevating the friendship and partnership between Uzbekistan and Pakistan to a new level, expanding scientific and cultural ties, and laying a solid foundation for a new strategic partnership between the two nations.

Following the meeting, at the “Young Orientalist Diplomats Club”, the Ambassador of Pakistan delivered a lecture on “Uzbekistan–Pakistan Relations.”
