Advancing Language Education and International Cooperation
On October 12, 2024, Boburjon Samigov, Senior Lecturer at the Higher School of South Asian Languages and Literature of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, delivered a lecture at the international webinar titled “The Role of the Indonesian Diaspora and Indonesianists in the Internationalization of the Indonesian Language”.
The event was organized in cooperation with the Agency for the Development of Education under the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia and the Indonesian Diaspora Network Global.
This webinar reaffirmed the importance of language learning and teaching within an international context, in line with quality education. The discussion highlighted the global promotion of the Indonesian language, the professional development of its learners and educators, and the strengthening of intercultural dialogue.
Such initiatives play a vital role in sharing best practices in foreign language education, enhancing the quality of instruction, and promoting the integration of students into the global knowledge community.
