Advancing Peace and International Dialogue
Professor Sayfiddin Juraev and Associate Professor Nilufar Khodjaeva, Head of the Department at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUOS), were awarded the “People’s Diplomat” badge by the Shanghai Cooperation Organization’s Center for Public Diplomacy in Uzbekistan.
This recognition was given in honor of their dedicated efforts in promoting international dialogue, cultural cooperation, and peacebuilding diplomacy. It highlights TSUOS’s active contribution to Sustainable Development Goal 16 – “Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions”.
Through their scholarly and academic work, Professor Juraev and Associate Professor Khodjaeva are enhancing mutual understanding between different peoples and cultures, promoting international academic relations, and strengthening regional cooperation.
TSUOS, through initiatives like this, actively participates not only in the field of science but also in international diplomatic relations, encouraging young people and the academic community to contribute to sustainable peace and collaboration.
