An open lecture dedicated to “Good Health and Well-being”

An open lecture dedicated to SDG 3: “Good Health and Well-being”, one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations, was conducted by Fuzaylova Nargiza, English language instructor at the Department of Western Languages of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, with first-year students of the Faculty of Eastern Philology and Translation Studies, majoring in Arabic Philology.

The lesson was held in an interactive format, aiming not only to develop students’ language skills but also to expand their knowledge on healthy lifestyles, physical and mental well-being, pandemic prevention, and challenges in global healthcare systems.

Divided into small groups, the students prepared analytical presentations on topics such as healthy eating, physical activity, mental health, and access to modern medical services. They shared their perspectives and proposed ideas for addressing these challenges. The discussion also included an overview of ongoing health reforms in Uzbekistan and how they align with the objectives of SDG 3.

At the end of the lesson, students were reminded of the importance of individual responsibility in building a healthy and sustainable society
