International Cooperation for Sustainable Development
On October 22–23, 2024, a seminar-training was held for a working group consisting of representatives from 14 higher education institutions as part of the implementation of the “National Code of University Governance,” with the participation of experts from the British Council and the UK-based organization “Advance HE”.
Sirojiddin Makhatov, Head of the Student Internship and Career Center, and PhD Mamurakhan Asrorkhojaeva from Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies actively participated in the training. On October 23, the rector of TSUOS, Gulchehra Rikhsieva, participated in a seminar organized for the project members by the British Council and the UK-based organization “Advance HE”.
This initiative contributes to improving Uzbekistan’s higher education system in accordance with international standards, introducing advanced foreign practices in governance, and promoting sustainable global cooperation in the field of education. This aligns fully with SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals.
