Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Met with the Ambassador of India
On August 1, 2024, the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Kongratbay Sharipov, and the Rector of TSUOS, Gulchekhra Rikhsieva, held an official meeting with Her Excellency Smita Pant, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Uzbekistan.
The Minister emphasized that bilateral cooperation in the fields of higher education, science, and innovation with India has been formed on the basis of long-standing friendship and extensive cultural ties.
In particular, special attention was given to key areas of cooperation such as the study of Hindi, Bengali, and Urdu languages, research on the history, culture, and literature of India and Central Asian countries, as well as collaboration in medicine, information technologies, and education.
