Promoting Gender Equality in Science
In accordance with Presidential Decree No.87 of the Republic of Uzbekistan, issued on March 7, 2022, “On Measures to Further Accelerate Systematic Support for Families and Women”, the “Women Scientists” research project competition has been held within the framework of state programs related to scientific activities.
This year, Professor Sanobar Shadmanova of TSUOS won the competition with her project “Gender Relations in Eastern Countries: Creating an Electronic Platform on the 100 Most Famous Women of the East”.
In this regard, on April 4, 2024, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation hosted an award ceremony for the “Women Scientists” research project competition. The event was attended by TSUOS Rector G. Rikhsieva, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation D. Sayfullaev, Head of the Research Center for the Study of Eastern Culture and Heritage N. Karimov, and S. Shadmanova.
