SDG 5: Gender Equality Seminar
On November 6, 2024, a practical lesson on the topic of “Gender Equality” was conducted by teacher Barno Tadjibaeva with the 3rd-year students of the Philology Korean-English group. The lesson covered the issue of gender equality within the framework of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG5).
The project lasted three weeks: during the first week, the topic and group assignments were explained; in the second week, research and discussions were carried out; and in the third week, presentations were held. Students utilized interactive slides, articles, video materials, and posters. Each group delivered presentations in English based on their findings. Students conducted in-depth analyses of global issues and approached the topic creatively.
As a result of the project, students gained a thorough knowledge of the consequences of gender inequality and the SDG objectives.
