Strengthening international cooperation in Turkology
On May 11, 2024, Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies hosted a delegation from the Republic of Türkiye, including Prof. Osman Mert, Chair of the Turkish Language Association (Türk Dil Kurumu), and professors Veli Savaş Yelok and Zaynobiddin Abdurashidov from Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University.
During the meeting with TSUOS leadership, the parties discussed bilateral academic cooperation, joint research initiatives in the field of Turkology, academic exchange programs, and future partnership opportunities.
This visit supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 17 — “Partnerships for the Goals”, by fostering international academic collaboration and building strong, cross-border partnerships in education for sustainable development.
